Although in the article on your website you joked that you give them such a good ride that they don't want to get off, in my case it was true. The 4 of them were so relaxed at the end of their journey from Winnipeg to Lumsden that they had to be led off the trailer.

I really appreciate the care that you took with them, especially with my warmblood who had an initial issue with getting in first! Other than my old gelding, the 3 mares haven't been in a trailer for years and, even then, probably only once or twice!

The fact that they loaded so well and were so relaxed is a testament to your skill and caring. Again, thanks for the ride from both myself and my 4 horses.

I highly recommend the services of Dave and Gail Rockson and ROCK SOLID TRANSPORT to anyone looking to find a competent and trustworthy company to ship their horses.

My husband and I received a transfer out of Saskatchewan to Ontario and needed to have our three horses shipped. I wasn't familiar with any shipping companies so surfed the net and found the Rockson's site. I read their 'testimonial' page and just knew that these were the right people to take care of my precious cargo.

When I contacted them, Dave and Gail were extremely helpful and reassuring, taking the time to explain how they stop each night at a trusted barn to let the horses relax and ensured that they would be in touch throughout the trip to let me know how the horses were doing. The obvious concern and care for horses they have in their custody was immediately evident from our phone conversations.

When I met Dave on loading day, I knew for sure I had hired the right people for the job. He was so confident and calm with the horses, taking his time before heading out, making sure they were comfortable and settled. As promised, Dave or Gail called me regularly during the trip.

Dave called each morning, once he was on the road to let me know how the horses were doing and each evening to let me know that he had arrived safely at his predetermined destination.

The horses arrived in great condition and showed no signs of having been 'on the road' for the past 4 days - testament to Dave's driving and handling of the horses.

I can honestly say that I didn't lose a moments sleep, knowing that my horses were in Dave's excellent care. The service that the Rockson's offer is second to none and I have already recommended them to several friends. I cannot thank Dave and Gail enough for taking such good care of my babies - and me! I would highly reccommend using Rock Solid Transport for any distance of hauling. The way Dave handled our mare Babe's situation, when he went to pick her up was just wonderful! Not only did he force the previous owners to call and ASK us if we would still accept delivery of her - injured leg and all - he took such good care of her that when she unloaded here, she was not even limping!

How to say thanks to two WONDERFUL AND CARING people – Gail and Dave – who took care of my horse for 3 months before he would make the long journey from Canada to Switzerland. I found out about Gail and Dave through the Internet when searching for folks who could transport my horse to Europe.

From the first contact with Gail, I felt I had someone who would care and look after my horse, as if it were her own. That meant a lot to me, especially since I had never met either one of them before.

Gail and Dave have come through from the day we first talked to each other, to picking up my horse from Montana and bringing him to Canada, to writing me weekly e-mails about how my boy was doing (including photos), taking care of shoeing needs, organizing the quarantine, taking care of the export paperwork and vet checks to the final transport from Canada to Luxembourg Airport.

They were both always friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. I really appreciate all their time and effort they put into taking care of my horse and helping me out wherever they could! I would trust them with my horse anytime again!

I would recommed ROCK SOLID TO EVERYONE!

If you know what is good for your horse and you're looking for a great man to do the Job - it is DAVE! We have used Rock Solid for 4-5 yrs now for short and long hauls to and from Sask, Alberta, B.C. and parts of the USA.

Dave has also been there for our horses when we need emergency services, summer or winter to The U of S Vet College Hospital. Dave has the patience to wait around for hours at the hospital while your horse is being examined. Dave and Gail are also very good friends and help out anytime.

Through his busy time of the year he still gets our horses to and from every show we need to be at. (and waits for us)! Gail is always on the phone letting me know where the horses are and how they're doing.

I remember I had a horse faint in the trailer, Dave pulled into a vet clinic and got the horse back up, all with two other horses on board. All was great when they arrived and it was just something that horse did, a BAD HABIT. So it is with our continued thanks that we value what you both have done for our horses and us, and want to thank you and make sure everyone knows how your transport is a 100% full effort service!
